Redeemer Kids

At Redeemer Community Church, we truly believe one of our greatest investments is future generations. Therefore, we strive for excellence in ministry to children through Redeemer Kids (RK). We have a variety of ministries and opportunities for our children.

At our Worship Gatherings on Sundays, you can feel a sense of comfort as you check-in your children. It is a secure, safe, and easy process. After check-in, your children will receive the best care from our amazing RK Serve Team. We have excellent, well-trained children’s and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements. We divide the children by age with Nursery, Big Kids, and Older Kids.

Nursery is our early childhood ministries for children 6 weeks to 2 years of age. Each service we have the privilege of loving, caring for, playing with, and teaching this younger group through age appropriate worship and lessons.

Big Kids is for K3 through Kindergarten. We welcome all of these Big Kids to join us each week as we go through stories from the Bible that come to life with video, music, activities, and more.

Older Kids is for 1st through 5th grade. These kids go together to join the Church Service for worship in a corporate environment before going back to their class. They learn scripture through activities, music, video, and more.

Throughout the year, we have various events and opportunities for our children: RK Serve Days, Easter Egg Hunt, Rock the Block, Pool Parties, Fall Festivals, and so much more!

The Redeemer Kids Annex is located across the street from the Worship Center and hosts our Redeemer Nursery, Redeemer Big Kids, and Redeemer Older Kids.

DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR…

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT REDEEMER KIDS:

Mission Wednesdays - Older kids 6:00-7:00 PM

Mission Wednesdays is a coed group designed for boys and girls ages 2nd - 5th Grade to come to faith in Christ while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible studies, missions projects and engaging activities. The kids have a lot of fun as they "travel" to various places around the world when they learn about and pray for the work of missionaries. The last Wednesday of the month, they go out into their Mission field on a field trip for first-hand experience!

Mission Wednesdays - Big Kids 6:00-7:00Pm

Each Wednesday evening, K3 - 1st grade will meet in the Big Kids room in the Redeemer Kids Building. They will be going through the same curriculum as the older kids, but suited to their level. They learn about living a Mission-based lifestyle through bible stories, real missionary’s stories, games, and fun activities! The last Wednesday of every month, the kids do their very own mission project on campus.

But he said to them, ‘It is necessary for me to proclaim the good news about the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because I was sent for this purpose.
— Luke 4:43
