First Steps Class

Our First Steps Class will give you an opportunity to meet our pastors and leaders at Redeemer, as well as meet others who are new to Redeemer. During this class you will hear the faith, strategy, and story of Redeemer Community Church. It is designed to answer all your questions about our faith family. Though it is our membership class, you do not have to join if you attend.

Community Groups

We believe God created us for community and not for isolation; therefore, Community Groups are vital for our transformation in the gospel. In fact, there are many “one another” commands in the New Testament that require us to be in community to obey them. God uses community to sanctify us and save others! Community Groups are gospel-centered groups that are formative in nature, meaning God uses these Groups in the life of a believer to form them more and more into the image of Christ! YOU were made to live in community with others, and one way to find that at Redeemer is to get in a community group! No matter what kind of group you’re looking for or what stage of life you’re in, we want you to be in a community with people who encourage you, help you grow, and have fun! Membership

YOU CAN JOIN REDEEMER COMMUNITY CHURCH IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

1. By Baptism- You are joining based on your new faith in Jesus and/or your desire to be baptized.

2. By Letter- You are joining from a like-minded church

3. By Statement- You are joining based on your statement of faith in Jesus and your previous baptism by immersion

STEPS FOR MEMBERSHIP:

1. Attend a First Steps Class

2. Complete Membership Form and Sign the Membership Covenant

3. Fulfill any demonstration of faith or follow through with baptism if necessary (may require a meeting with an elder)

4. Participate in the next Membership Celebration
